Second Ministerial Conference on Antimicrobial Resistance in The Netherlands
The aim of this conference is to strengthen and accelerate international cooperation in the global fight against antimicrobial resistance. The focus of this conference will be international and multi-sectoral cooperation within the framework of the One Health approach. Similarly to five years ago, we hope to bring together our international colleagues who are responsible for public health and agricultural policy. In order to work towards specific cooperative relations, we want to give the concept of AMR-twinning a central place during the conference. With this concept of AMR-twinning, we will strive to create cooperative bonds between nations that will be beneficial to the implementation of their national action plans. Furthermore, the conference will allow for dialogue with a wide variety of AMR stakeholders in the field to enhance exchange of the most recent insights and knowledge.
